I've gone through a few sizable piles of deadfall with this SuperHandy wood chipper, and it's been working beautifully. The engine continues to run smoothly. When I got it, putting it together wasn't that difficult. It was smaller than I had anticipated, but when I used it, it did the job nicely. On 3" branches, the engine does indeed labour a little, but the task is accomplished by maintaining a solid grip on the branch (while wearing gloves!). The only issue I might have is that there isn't a nice handle to hold onto when moving it around the yard. To solve this, I made an adaptation by using a narrow board that fits under the front feet bracing and hooks onto the wheel axle.
