8.2Expert Score

While not exactly "quiet," this item will chip rather than shred. It was also considerably quieter than others. Although they are not absolutely necessary, earplugs wouldn't hurt. The tool performed excellently. Maintaining a 1-inch diameter with the fresher wood keeps things flowing, in my experience. Feed the branches in, and the rest will usually be taken care of. Please be aware that the chute may become clogged.
